SEMA 2013 Ford Mustang Project Powered by Women

Ford Motor Company and the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) joined forces to create the SEMA Mustang Build Powered by Women. We have created a profile of the custom Ford Mustang on OctaneNation where you can many of the custom parts that were used in the build.

The project was built under the direction of the SEMA Businesswomen’s Network (SBN) and was built entirely by SBN members. The goal of the project was to shed light on women working in the automotive aftermarket and encourage greater involvement in the industry. The Mustang will be auctioned with proceeds going towards the SEMA Memorial Scholarship Fund which disperses fund to deserving students who plan to pursue careers in the automotive industry.

An overview video of the build can be seen here:

The car is for sale through an eBay auction and ends Friday at 8 AM PST.
